About the event
Join us for an evening of laughter, conversation, and literary discovery as we gather around the table to enjoy a delicious pasta meal and share poetry together. Throughout the evening, guests will be invited to choose hand-rolled scrolls containing poems selected from a wide variety of voices and styles. You may find yourself reading a beloved classic, a contemporary favorite, something deeply moving, unexpectedly funny, romantic, whimsical, or thought-provoking.
There is no pressure to perform perfectly. This event is about exploration, connection, and experiencing the joy of poetry together. Guests are also welcome to bring a favorite poem of their own to share if they wish.
Whether you're a lifelong poetry lover or someone who hasn't read a poem since high school, you'll discover that poetry has a remarkable way of bringing people together and sparking meaningful conversation.
